The EYTA Hub is provided by EIF as a one-stop shop for information and resources related to transforming maternity and early years services at a local level.
These resources have been made available for anyone to use as part of the Early Years Transformation Academy. If you would like to find out about our 2019/20 intensive learning programme, designed to assist local areas to create a transformation plan for maternity and early years services, while sharing learning and experiences along the way, see: About the Academy.
The Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) is an independent charity that champions and supports the use of effective early intervention to improve the lives of children, young people and their families. Visit our website for more information.
About EIF’s work on the early years
Childhood is a period of rapid physical, cognitive, social and emotional development, which lays the foundations for a happy, healthy and productive life. This means it is an especially important period for early intervention to prevent or reduce the negative impacts of problems experienced by a child or family.
In a local place, maternity and early years services are a vital means both of providing support to children and families who need it, and of identifying those who may need additional support from other local services. During a period when local authorities and other services are under funding pressure, it is particularly important that early years support is known to be effective and well suited to the local families’ needs, and that the local system and early years workforce are set up to work successfully to improve the lives of children in their area.
You can find all of our work on the early years on the EIF website.
